Paul Slams Republicans Voting For COVID Bill: ‘You Are No Better Than Socialist Dems’ – NewsWars
“When you vote to pass out free money, you lose your soul and you abandon forever any semblance of moral or fiscal integrity,” Rand Paul urged.
“If free money was the answer… if money really did grow on trees, why not give more free money?” Paul said.
“Why not give it out all the time? Why stop at $600 a person? Why not $1,000? Why not $2,000? Maybe these new Free-Money Republicans should join the Everybody-Gets-A-Guaranteed-Income Caucus? Why not $20,000 a year for everybody, why not $30,000? If we can print out money with impunity, why not do it?” the Senator proclaimed.
Requiem For Donald Trump - PaulCraigRoberts.org
Trump was reckless in his challenges to the establishment and had not one presidential appointee to help him. His complete and total failure to take control of the Justice Department sealed his doom.
I am writing on the evening of December 21 and Barr has resigned as of December 23. In 48 hours or less Barr will be gone, and where is the Durham Report with the indictments of the high level Obama regime officials in the CIA, FBI, and DOJ who committed known felonies in their attempt to frameup President Trump with “Russiagate.” Barr is leaving office, and there is no report, no accountability, no indictments. The corrupt Republican establishment has let the Democrats and the security agencies get away with blocking Trump by using up Trump’s four years in office in the Russiagate and impeachment hoaxes.
Where is Barr’s action on the volumnious evidence in Hunter Biden’s laptop, some of which has been made public by the New York Post and all of which is in the FBI’s hands? The Hill, highly biased and highly anti-trump, happily reports that Bill Barr says there is no reason to appoint a special counsel to look into the Hunter Biden matter.

If David Cameron had shown the same balls as Hungary and Poland in taking on EU, UK’s Brexit shambles would never have happened — RT Op-ed
The two eastern Europeans are wily streetfighters, Orbán in particular, and having drawn a line in the sand over Brussels’ restrictive proposals when they were first announced, never budged a millimetre. The two have taken the patronising Brussels attitude that somehow they should be grateful to belong to such a celebrated, liberal organisation such as the EU, and flung it back at them.

Today's reflections by a market guru, Scott Ruble
There are a lot of unknowns and unspoken out there, and this “Whack-a-Mole” game we call 2020 will see another head pop up. We are seeing unusual activity with the Chinese and Russian military. Russian is going through the English Channel and China is soaking up sun in the Caribbean. Those who read past the front page or watch news other than MSM Headlines may have noticed all the movement by our military surrounding our shores.
We have a vaccine that is seeing becoming less of a miracle every day. Portland's mayor has sent the police on vacation and given the keys to the city to Antifa. We have politicians in bed with China, knowingly or not. We have the globalist Gate's family complaining that the American made and American paid for vaccine is going to Americans first.
NOT BEING POLITICAL, BUT.........We have 18-19 states joining the Texas lawsuit to overthrow the election fraud (and don't tell me there was no fraud). Biden only won 16.7% of the counties, but with more votes than Obama? RESPECTED University Mathematicians (who tend to lean very left politically) have said there is “a 1 in QUADRILLION chance Biden went from losing every swing state to winning ever swing state when they stopped counting at 1am”.
I am not a bright guy, but do understand scientific notation. That is 15 zeros. The picture shows what one quadrillion looks like if every tiny block is 1 Billion. I guess Biden would have been better off playing Power Ball if this was his lucky day. I would rather have 340 million than be president. He only has 4 homes, but imagine how many he could own if not forced to live on a civil servant pay check! I can stop thinking about “a billion millions”
We have the Joe Biden's brother and son being criminally investigated, but have not discovered (like that takes brains) who “the big guy” is. We have an overbought stock market, but nowhere else to put cash. We have horrible economic numbers and people are fleeing large cities such as Chicago, LA and New York in masses. Many businesses are on the brink while Congress is squabbling over 1,500 per person in relief for F-ing up their lives for a year.
And now these idiots are talking about canceling Christmas? There must be a tree shortage and they want to make sure there are enough for one in each of their homes. Other than that, I am very optimistic.
Don't be discouraged - Sisyphus is almost at the top of the mountain!
The stock market frog is boiling.

Realpolitik
“I agreed to do it, but immediately after that, Pfizer wrote a $1 million check to his inauguration committee. He then appointed a Pfizer lobbyist, Alex Azar, to run the HHS, and he handpicked a Pfizer insider, Scott Gottlieb, to run the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. As soon as they got in there, they shut down the Vaccine Safety Commission and any other questioning of vaccines,” Kennedy says.
“I think a lot of people were telling him, ‘You shouldn’t be doing this,’ and [Bill] Gates was one of them. But I think once he took the money from Pfizer and put in their guys, [the commission] was dead in the water.”

We Had the COVID-19 Vaccine the Whole Time
....though, it’s worth noting, as early as July the MIT Technology Review reported that a group of 70 scientists in the orbit of Harvard and MIT, including “celebrity geneticist” George Church, were taking a totally DIY nasal-spray vaccine, never even intended to be tested, and developed by a personal genomics entrepreneur named Preston Estep (also the author of a self-help-slash-life-extension book called The Mindspan Diet). China began administering a vaccine to its military in June. Russia approved its version in August. And while most American scientists worried about the speed of those rollouts, and the risks they implied, our approach to the pandemic here raises questions, too, about the strange, complicated, often contradictory ways we approach matters of risk and uncertainty during a pandemic — and how, perhaps, we might think about doing things differently next time.

The deeper meaning of Liszt's Les préludes, and an unintended irony
What else is our life but a series of preludes to that unknown Hymn, the first and solemn note of which is intoned by Death?—Love is the glowing dawn of all existence; but what is the fate where the first delights of happiness are not interrupted by some storm, the mortal blast of which dissipates its fine illusions, the fatal lightning of which consumes its altar; and where is the cruelly wounded soul which, on issuing from one of these tempests, does not endeavour to rest his recollection in the calm serenity of life in the fields? Nevertheless man hardly gives himself up for long to the enjoyment of the beneficent stillness which at first he has shared in Nature's bosom, and when "the trumpet sounds the alarm", he hastens, to the dangerous post, whatever the war may be, which calls him to its ranks, in order at last to recover in the combat full consciousness of himself and entire possession of his energy.[7]
During this new, quieter phase of his life, when he frequently stayed in simple monastic quarters, Liszt was able to complete his St. Elizabeth oratorio, his two St. Francis legends (in versions for piano as well as orchestra), and started work on The Canticle of the Sun and the Christus oratorio. Of instrumental works, he composed his two Concert Etudes (‘Forest Murmurs’ and ‘Dance of the Gnomes’) and his Mephisto Waltz No. 1 (which is the piano version of the second movement from Two Episodes from Lenau’s ‘Faust’). The Totentanz (Danse macabre), composed earlier for piano and orchestra – a paraphrase of the Gregorian Dies irae – was also premiered and published at this time.
Liszt had long been interested in the reform of Catholic church music; this now became a primary preoccupation, and he would have liked to play a major role in the implementation of that reform. He was encouraged by Pope Pius IX, who paid him a visit at his lodgings, listened to his piano playing and called him “my dear Palestrina.” Liszt made a thorough study of Gregorian chant and the sacred polyphony of the 16th century to which the reformers wished to return. He strove to deepen his knowledge of religion and, after a period of serious preparation, took the four Minor Orders of the Catholic Church which carried some religious duties and qualified him to perform certain smaller liturgical services.
He would have liked to become a choirmaster in the Vatican, but he did not wish to become ordained as a priest, although he always wore a cassock and was addressed as ‘Abbé Liszt.’‘Abbé Liszt’ made his first public appearance in Hungary in August 1865, at the 25-year jubilee festivities of the National Conservatory. He had been instrumental in launching this institution making major monetary donations in 1840 and again in 1846; now he offered his new oratorio, The Legend of St. Elizabeth, as a gift. The work, written on a German text, had originally been intended for performance at the Wartburg (in the Grand Duchy of Weimar) where the Saint, a Hungarian king’s daughter, had lived. In the event, however, the first performance took place at the Redoute in Pest on 15 August 1865, sung in Kornél Ábrányi’s Hungarian translation. Due to the great success, Liszt conducted a second performance and regaled his compatriots with his piano playing at a benefit concert where he was joined on stage by Hans von Bülow and Ede Reményi. (After abandoning his virtuoso career, he only played the piano in public at benefit concerts. He was known for being always ready to help those in need and for supporting worthy artistic causes.)“Franz Liszt”, Mária Eckhardt, The Hungarian Quarterly

Sleep apnea may be risk factor for COVID-19 | EurekAlert! Science News
The comparison of the register information revealed that 29 percent of the patients admitted to hospital care had already been diagnosed with sleep apnea. The number is significant, as only 3.1 percent of the population of Southwest Finland is getting treatment for sleep apnea. Even though the total number of patients in the study was low, the share of sleep apnea patients was high. The extent of sleep apnea among the patients cannot only be explained by the obesity often met in sleep apnea patients, being one of the already known risk factors for severe COVID-19.
"The finding was strong enough to justify the question of sleep apnea as a risk factor for COVID-19. In principle, a patient may need hospital care when they have a COVID-19 infection if they also have sleep apnea. Sleep apnea anticipates a severe form of COVID-19," estimates Feuth in the light of the research findings.

Facing Up to the China Threat - Imprimis
In response, on May 13, 2019, the PRC, through the Xinhua News Agency—which is controlled by the CCP—declared a “People’s War” against the U.S. This was specifically in response to U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods, which themselves were a response to restrictions of access to Chinese markets and China’s failure to negotiate in good faith on the theft of intellectual property.
What was meant by this declaration of a People’s War? Was the phrase essentially rhetorical or did it signal a fundamental shift or escalation in Chinese thinking?
I would not go so far as to say that the COVID-19 virus that originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology was part of this People’s War. But the virus did set into motion a radical reorientation of American society that had grave economic and political consequences.
We know with certainty that after the virus began spreading in Wuhan in the fall of 2019, the Chinese government closed down flights from Wuhan, which is in Hubei province, to the rest of China. At the same time, it allowed flights from Wuhan to continue to go to Europe and to the U.S.—where the Chinese knew with certainty that the virus would spread. And when President Trump closed the U.S. to flights from China, its foreign ministry and one of the CCP’s propaganda arms, the Global Times, pushed for a reversal of this policy—again, knowing full well how contagious the virus was. Indeed, the Chinese government locked down Wuhan and released videos of men in hazmat suits welding doors shut so that people could not leave their homes.
The U.S. government and its Centers for Disease Control, which has offices in China, asked to be let into Wuhan to investigate. To this day China has denied us access. The initial gene sequencing for the virus that we received from China—evidence that led the now famous public health bureaucrat Anthony Fauci to say that China was being open and cooperative—was incorrect, a fact that made testing Americans for the virus all the more difficult. Were these decisions by the Chinese government part of the People’s War?
When challenged on its dishonesty regarding the virus’s origins, the CCP’s Xinhua News Agency threatened that China could plunge America into a “mighty sea of coronavirus,” pointing out that China controlled the supply chain for the active pharmaceutical ingredients used in the production of 90 percent of our medicines. This fact alone—the result of the loss of the U.S. manufacturing base to China and other nations, an explicit policy of our government until recently—is a scandal of immense proportions that our government is now working to correct.
Regardless of whether the COVID-19 virus was a by-product of biological weapons research or resulted from inadequate safeguards in a virology lab, it is the CCP that is to blame for its spread throughout the world, and it was criminal for the Chinese government to keep the world in the dark about the nature of the pathogen.
Nor has COVID-19 been the only line of attack in this People’s War. It should come as no surprise that the PRC uses its diplomatic missions around the world as a base for industrial espionage and to conduct political and information warfare. Thus it was that on July 24 of this year, the U.S. State Department closed down the Chinese consulate in Houston, saying that it was serving as a hub for CCP operatives who were engaging in theft of America’s research into, among other things, the development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
To quote a State Department official:
Consulates are also bases of operations for Fox Hunt teams. These are teams of agents sent from China here to coerce economic fugitives—meaning political rivals of President Xi, the Communist Party critics, and refugees—coercing them, that is, to return to the PRC. Consulates enabled the activities of those teams. Consulates also enabled direct lobbying of state and local officials, as well as business people, to favor Chinese interests. And while that’s to be expected by diplomats, when it takes a turn towards the coercive or the covert, that becomes a national security problem.
It is also believed that Chinese operatives in the Houston consulate provided intelligence to Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters in Houston as a way of demonstrating their solidarity. Indeed, there is growing evidence that the CCP’s United Front includes these groups, and that some of the funding for BLM and Antifa is coming from CCP-sponsored or affiliated groups: Liberation Road, the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, and the Chinese Progressive Association.
In conclusion, Americans are not looking for war with Communist China, but Communist China appears to be at war with us. As a first order of business, we must continue what we have at long last begun: building a military designed to deter Chinese aggression and pursuing trade and other policies that put our own national interests first.
Equally important—especially given the violence in our cities that our foreign enemies cheer—is defending our American way of life and teaching our countrymen why America deserves our love and devotion, now and in the days ahead.

The Four Young Men Who May Help Carry Our Nation through These Tough Times - American Thinker
Or, better still, contrast them with the original counterculture, the Beat Poets, who have all written their final chapters. Two of the five original members committed murder. Three of them were drug addicts; Jack Kerouac was an alcoholic. Homosexuality played a part in all of their lives, with the possible exception of Kerouac: Neal Cassady dabbled as a male prostitute in his youth; Lucien Carr stabbed an older male with whom he had a destructive relationship that may or may not have been physical; William Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg almost certainly bedded boys who were well below the age of consent, with Ginsberg openly advocating for the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). Both Kerouac and Ginsberg humiliated themselves on William F. Buckley's Firing Line TV show, Kerouac because he was drunk and Ginsberg because he insisted on performing a cringingly awkward Hare Krishna chant. Cassady died of a heart attack at age 42 while under the influence of depressants. He is reputed to have said, "[T]wenty years of fast living — there's just not much left, and my kids are all screwed up. Don't do what I have done." Kerouac died broken both financially and physically at 47 from internal hemorrhaging.

Coming Soon to a Nation Near You: World Government
The authors say that there is only a narrow window of opportunity for the Great Reset. Let’s keep in mind though that so far it is only global institutions like the WEF that are promoting the initiative, not national administrations. When it starts to permeate politics is when you know the agenda is advancing. But what exactly will the economic and societal conditions be when the Great Reset becomes part of the global conversation? Has what we have seen up to now been enough to compel people to call for change on a global scale? Has there yet been enough degradation and material change to living standards for citizens to implore global institutions to take action? I would argue not.
Already ‘solutions‘ like Universal Basic Income have been touted. But as yet there is not a widespread clamouring for change. But that time is coming. Whether it be in the name of Agenda 2030 (aka Sustainable Development), The Green New Deal or The Great Reset, it would amount to largely the same outcome – the subjugation once and for all of national sovereignty where the nation state is subordinate to global governance.
