Atlanta police call out in protest; force says it's managing
Last night, we called local police to ask what is protocol for drunk driving arrest. Answer: You get handcuffed, put in squad car, and brought into the station for booking, bail, etc.
Appears Atlanta officers followed protocol.
Why if perpetrator resists arrest, fights officer? Officers are trained to subdue their assailants.
When we remove the police officer's ability to make an arrest, or defend himself when attacked, who will be willing to serve as police?
